West Herts College -Scheherezade and the Arabian Nights

A dance performance showcasing work by the West Herts College Dance Students who currently study BTEC level 3 diploma in Dance.
The show is loosely based on the story of Scheherezade and the Arabian Nights, originally choreographed by Michel Fokine for Diaghilev's Ballet Russes.
The Minos and Camos have been warring for centuries, culminating in the capture of Scheherazade and her troops. Scheherazade bargains for her freedom by transporting her captors to magical worlds in search of treasure.
The dancers will perform the styles they learn at college to a wide variety of music - something for everyone.
