Alison was born and raised in Wembley but now lives in Hertfordshire. Alison has always been influenced by art. As a child, her father encouraged her to paint using his oil paints.

Alison studied Fine Art at Harrow School of Art. Having worked in schools whilst bringing up her children, the pandemic came and she decided it was time to explore her interests including her love of art.

Now in her early 60s, Alison is a member of St Albans Art Society and recently Herts Visual Arts Forum. She mainly paints in oils and acrylics but loves to explore other mediums too.

Her exhibition, entitled ‘Scenes of Summer’ includes landscapes and still life paintings with a nod to summer.
