The Choral (12A)
Wednesday 4 March 2026, 11am, 2pm & 7pm
(running time 113 mins)
Music unites a choir and their community as war looms, revealing courage, hope, and harmony.
When the choral society’s men enlist to fight in World War I, the exacting Dr. Guthrie, played by Sharon Small, is left without her choir. Determined to keep the music alive, she enlists the help of choirmaster Archie, played by Joseph Fiennes, and together they recruit a group of teenage boys, guiding them through the discipline and delight of singing.
As their voices blend in harmony, they find purpose and connection amid uncertainty. Directed by Ben Harrison, this moving story celebrates courage, hope, and the unifying power of music in the face of loss.
