CASUAL DUTY FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a Duty Front of House Manager for hire events, films and touring companies ensuring that hirers, production companies and customers receive excellent customer service
- Ensuring that all contractual, licensing and health and safety requirements are adhered to
- Supervising casual staff and volunteers
- Completion of daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and maintenance logs for the FOH areas in collaboration with other FOH casual staff
- To complete all end of day banking including paperwork and correcting bar floats
- To prepare for all events, which may include setting up rooms, bars, and tills
- Any other general or management duties as required by the Venue Manager or other permanent staff
- Responsible for evacuation of FOH in the event of an emergency
Specific knowledge, skills and expertise
- Providing customer service
- Ability to organise and supervise staff & volunteers
- Technical experience of a theatre / venue
- Delivering customer service
- Supervising / running a bar
- MS Office applications, Outlook, Word & Excel
- Till systems
- Cash handling
